The Pansonic TX-32LXD85 is a 32” LCD television with a display resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is fully HD ready meaning it can display all the latest HD content such as Sky HD, Blu-ray and the latest video games consoles. HD offers a significant improvement in picture quality when compared to standard definition as there is over twice as much detail present.

Many LCD television suffer when displaying fast moving scenes and display artefacts knows as ghosting or motion blur. The TX-32LXD85 overcomes with via the use of Panasonic’s Motion Picture Pro 2 technology. The MPP2 creates 100 frames per second from the 50 frame per second video signal. It does this by creating a set of intermediate frames and inserting them in-between the original 50 frames. This 100% increase in the frame rate provides smooth motion images whilst maintaining the high resolution. This is great for watching scenes with lots of fast movement such as sport and action movies. This also makes the LCD look stunning when playing the latest action packed video games.

The TX-32LXD85 has a 178 viewing angle both horizontally and vertically. This means that images remain beautiful even when viewing from an angle to the LCD. The IPS Alpha LCD panel used with the 32LXD85 displays crisp and clear images with a natural colour reproduction no matter where you view the LCD from.
The TX-32LXD85 boasts an impressive contrast ratio of 10,000:1 thanks to Panasonic’s I.P.S (Intelligent Scene Controller) operating in dynamic mode. This ensures details remain visible evening during extremely dark scenes and blacks are rendered with a deep and full colour.

The audio on the TX-32LXD85 is taken care of via two integral speakers each with a rating of 10W to provide a total of 20W power. The audio features V-Audio surround which simulates surround sound using the 2 speakers. By altering the delaying of certain sounds from the 2 different speakers it can trick your ears to think that the sound it coming from a different direction. Ideal for those who want a surround sound system but don’t want to position 5 different speakers around the room.

Like many of Panasonic’s recent LCD televisions the TX32LXD85 features VIERA Link. From pressing a single button the LCD’s remote control you can have multiple compatible AV components controller. They are controlled by signals sent directly through the HDMI cables to alleviate the need for using multiple remote controls.

You also get the neat feature of being able to view your digital photos on the large 32” LCD screen. Simply insert your SD or SDHC card into the integral card read and view your photos like never before with stunning detail and colours.
