The TX37LXD85 is a 37” LCD TV from Panasonics XD range. It boasts an impressive set of features including some of Panasonics latest cutting egde Audio/Video technologies.

The TX-37LXD85 is equipped with Panasonic’s 100Hz Motion Picture Pro technology. This technology help to significantly reduce ‘motion picture lag’ when watching scenes with lots of movement in them. Video signals generally contain 50 individual frames per second. The TX 37LXD85 improves on this by creating intermediate frames and inserting them in-between the original video frames. This provides a crystal clear image without the motion blur when watching fast moving sceens such as sporting events or playing the latest video games.

The Panasonic TX37LXD85 has a high contrast ratio of 10,000 : 1 further improved with the addition of Intelligent Scene Controller (I.S.C.). The blacks this LCD produces are impressive and have been deepened by expanding the backlight tuning area. The images is smooth with crystal clear motion and delicates colours. Panasonic’s V-Real 3 picture technology has been used to optimise the performance of the display all all times.

The Panasonic TX-37LXD85 includes a host of other features designed to improve the picture quality including picture overscan, 3D Colour management, progressive scan, a 3D Comb filter and a comprehensive noise reduction routine.

The TX37LXD85 uses the next generation of LCD panels called the Viera IPS ALPHA LCD Panel. This gives you a wide 178 degree viewing angle on both the horixontal and vertical plane making the TX-37LXD85 the ideal LCD to watch with large groups of friends or family.

Like many of Panasonic’s other LCD televisions, the TX 37LXD85 features VIERA link allowing you to control other compatible devices via a single remote control. VIERA link works by sending control signal via HDMI cables to the other components and alleviates the need for multi remote controls. Simple press a single button on one remote control and have your TV switch on, turn to the correct input, set the sound settings appropriately and your DVD begins to play so you can concentrate on enjoying the show rather than juggling with remote controls.

You are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to the Panasonic TX37LXD85’s connectors. There are 3 HDMI inputs for connecting your HD components such as Blu-ray players, HD camcorders and the latest games consoles. One of the HDMI inputs is situated on the side of the television for easy connection of a camcorder without having to get at the back of the LCD. There is also composite inputs, S-Video, PC input, 2 SCART sockets and separate audio inputs.
