Sony - HD LCD TV
Sony has been in the television industry for a long time and has become one of the best known brands when looking for an LCD. Sony have gained a reputation for their quality and cutting edge technology.
BRAVIA is the brand in which Sony market their range of LCD televisions. The BRAVIA name is also used on their front and rear projection TVs. Sony has chosen to focus purely on LCD technology with their flat panel range compared to some other manufactuers who still use Plasma panels for their larger sets.
BRAVIA is an an acronym of "Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture". All of Sony’s current range of HD LCD TVs carries the BRAVIA name.
There are a number of series of LCD televisions within the BRAVIA range, the particular series can be identified by the model number. At the time of writing there are 7 different series of LCD televisions on offer by Sony.
